Cookie policy
Which cookies and browser storage this site uses, why, and how to control them.

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage. They help a site remember your choices, measure how it’s used and, in some cases, show you relevant ads elsewhere.
What this site uses
Our website itself uses only two small pieces of browser storage, and neither identifies you personally:
| Name | Type | Purpose | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| adstroke-aud | Local storage | Remembers whether you chose “Shopify store” or “Lead-based business” on the home page | Until you clear it |
| adstroke-attr | Session storage | Keeps the campaign tags from the link you arrived on, so they can be sent with your audit request | Until you close the tab |
| adstroke-lead | Session storage | Shows your first name on the thank-you page after you submit the form | Until you close the tab |
Analytics and advertising cookies
We use Google Tag Manager to load tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta pixel, and HubSpot to understand visits and manage enquiries. These help us see how visitors use the site and measure our own advertising. When active, they set cookies such as:
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics | Counts visits and measures how pages are used | Up to 2 years |
| _gcl_au | Google Ads | Measures conversions from our Google ads | 90 days |
| _fbp | Meta | Measures conversions from our Meta ads | 90 days |
| hubspotutk | HubSpot | Recognises returning visitors and links visits to enquiries in our CRM | 6 months |
| __hstc | HubSpot | Tracks visits and sessions for our CRM reporting | 6 months |
| __hssc, __hssrc | HubSpot | Counts page views in a session and detects new sessions | 30 minutes to session end |
Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent before setting these.
Third-party services
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, form submissions are processed by Web3Forms, and HubSpot may also record the details you submit through our forms. These services may receive technical information such as your IP address when your browser connects to them.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Most browsers also let you browse privately so nothing is kept after you close the window. Blocking cookies won’t stop this site working, though the home page won’t remember your choice between visits.
You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on, and manage ad personalisation in your Google and Meta account settings.
